We can choose our thoughts, words and actions.

Are you living the life of your dreams? Are you completely satisfied and happy with how you spend your time every day? If you are, congratulations! Most of the people are not that fortunate. Or do you belong to the group of people who want to change their lives, to be more meaningful, full of joy, feeling loved and being loving? Are you tired of feeling trapped by a life that you hate and that you don’t know how to get out of it?

If you are ready for a change, you need to know that, change depends on you. If you continue to do the very same things that you have done until now, the results you’ll get will be the same you have now. In other words, your situation won’t change at all if you think the same, watch the same, listen to the same and speak the same things.

You see, your life is your creation. All you have and you don’t have until now is a product of your thoughts, words and actions from a couple of months ago.

Most people live in desperation because they don’t like their lives and focus on all they “think they lack” instead of what they want.

For instance, most people think, “I never have time for myself,” and they focus on that. Doesn’t matter how much free time they have, they will always find a reason to not spend it on themselves but in something or somebody else. Why? The reason is—they are focused that there is never enough time for them. They don’t even recognize that they are choosing to think that way; they just think it in auto-pilot.

Instead, they can choose to think, “I always have more than enough time for myself.” I am sure that they will find all the time they need to do whatever they want to do. How do I know it? Because I’ve been there. I used to be the one that thought that there was not enough time, money or love. When I chose differently, everything started to be created differently, just the way I wanted.

  • Pay attention to your thoughts, and especially to the conversation in your head with yourself. We are so used to our thoughts that we don’t pay attention to them anymore. Write them down or record them in a voice memo. If they are not according to the life you want for yourself, immediately realize they are not true, you just believe they are true. Now you can choose what thoughts you’ll have.
  • Write down exactly the opposite to that inadequate or negative thought, and express it in positive.

For example, “I don’t have money to pay my bills.”
The opposite is, “I have more than enough money to pay my bills.”

  • Choose carefully what words you use and what you watch, listen to and speak of. Here you are changing what goes into your mind; how you feed your mind.
  • Choose with whom you want to spend your time. This is very important. Observe how you feel with people. If you feel sad, depressed, guilty or unworthy after spending time with somebody, try to limit or avoid being with that person. Trust your feelings. You can choose wisely!
